Mowbray Studios offers new purpose built fully equipped self catering accommodation for the visitor to Cambridge. The accommodation is suitable for single or double occupancy and includes a large fully integrated kitchen and living area.

Easily accessible with it's own entrance you are ensured privacy in a quiet atmosphere facing away from any roads. Car parking is available and there is an excellent bus service to the City Centre.

Situated on the south side of Cambridge the studio is convenient for Addenbrookes Hospital, various language schools, the Railway Station and the City Centre.

Free broadband internet access is available at all times.

The Accommodation

Mowbray Studios is a fully equipped, self-contained studio-style apartment, suitable for single or double occupancy. It has it's own private access and independent heating and hot water system.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. All cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and glassware are supplied.

Living accommodation comprises of a double bed, leather sofa, desk, wardrobe and Flat Screen Digital TV (Freeview). All bedding and towels are provided. The accommodation is non-smoking.

The bathroom is fitted with a high-power shower that is much loved by our guests.

Outside there is a small south facing terrace where, weather permitting, you can sit out and enjoy breakfast or a quiet break.

Location

Mowbray Studios is readily accessible via the Cambridge ring road - a detailed map and directions can be found by clicking here for a link to muli-map. There is off-road parking and also a secure bicycle storage facility.

A regular bus service takes only 10 minutes to reach Cambridge city centre and also passes the Railway Station en-route. The apartment is also very convenient for Addenbrookes hospital as well as a selecion of small local shops. Other local facilities include the Cambridge Leisure park, which includes a 10 pin bowling alley, a Cinema complex as well as shops and a choice of various bars and restaurants.

Cambridge

Mowbray studios makes an ideal base for visiting Cambridge on either business or pleasure. Go for a stroll down the "backs", through the college "quads" or go punting on the river Cam for the best views. The city is easily accessed using the regular bus service which takes only 10 minutes.

Other attractions in the area include Ely with its Cathedral, the Imperial War Museum at Duxford, the National Trust property at Anglesey Abbey or a day at the races at Newmarket racecourse.

The charge for 1 weeks rental of the studio is £350, a reduced rate is available for longer term bookings.

Terms and conditions

  • 25% non-refundable deposit on confirmation of booking and payment to be made on or before arrival.
  • Payment can be made by sterling cheque or by bank transfer. Bank details are available upon request.
  • We cannot be responsible for any loss or damage to any personal goods or belongings and it is the tenant's responsibility to organise personal insurance for their belongings.
  • Except in the case of normal wear and tear, any damage which occurs due to negligent or irresponsible behaviour will be the tenant's responsibility.
  • Any damage must be reported immediately.
  • The accommodation is used as serviced holiday accommodation and so is exempt from tenure legislation.
  • No pets allowed.
  • No smoking allowed.
  • No sub-letting is permitted.
  • We retain the right of access to the properties for any servicing, repair or maintenance work.
  • Your statutory rights are not affected.
  • We retain the right to make any necessary changes.
